Hi, welcome to my personal website! I'm Brendan Wong, a college student at California State University, Sacramento, who studies computer science. I believe in the "less is more" philosophy when it comes to programming. Inspired by this mindset, I designed this site to be as clean and straightforward as possible.

Hunger Games Simulator

Developed and deployed an interactive text- and image-based simulation as a static website using GitHub Pages, offering users an entertaining experience. Overhauled and customized an existing Hunger Games simulator by BrantSteele, redesigning its mechanics and logic to improve user engagement.

Useful Copper: A Minecraft Mod

Created a Minecraft mod that introduces new copper-related tools, items, and gameplay features, increasing player immersion while deepening an understanding of game design principles. Built on existing Java Minecraft source code and utilized the Fabric API and Fabric Loader to produce features for the mod, demonstrating an ability to extend and integrate established codebases.

Healthcare Platform

Collaborated with classmates to create a healthcare application that met a client's requirements, enabling healthcare workers to view and manage their patient data, fulfilling the client's needs. Quickly adapted to new frameworks to effectively contribute to frontend development and support the team's progress.

Portfolio Website

Architected a simple portfolio website to showcase programming projects and technical skills in greater detail. Optimized website accessibility to ensure a user-friendly experience for all, including those with limited technical knowledge.
